Economic Vice Presidency Press 11.20.2019.- Last Wednesday, the National Superintendence of Cryptoassets and Related Activities (Sunacrip), gave Valeven the license as Exchange House, making Valeven part of the eleven authorized exchange houses by the Superintendence.

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, stressed that these alliances favor the Petro sovereign cryptocurrency ecosystem. “If you go to a hotel, you can pay in Petro. If you go to the supermarket, you can pay in Petro. If you buy a pair of shoes, you can pay in Petro. Let's use the Petro,” he said.

The President revealed that in December, the Bolivarian Government would facilitate Christmas purchases specifically for household appliances. All this is thought so that the people can make their purchases with the digital currency, "If you buy with Petros, you'll buy at a bargain price. It is cheaper and better. We are building a new country, where Venezuela is at the forefront, for being the first country in the world to have a cryptocurrency backed by 5 billion barrels of oil and the country's gold.”
